I used to work at Patchwork with Gail B. It is on Canterbury Road Bayswater. It has over 12,000 fabrics on the bolt. It is inside a tile shop called Keith Fagg. I have been to all the shops in Victoria and it out weighs them all. The website isn't that crash hot but the shop is worth the trip. Fat 1/4's are 3.50 and 5.00. Hope this helps. I am heading to Melbourne in July for craft show and a visit to this old haunt. Enjoy your trip and pack your thermals....

As Kaye says Bell, its a great shop, especially for Grannies, as Kieth has some awesome toys too. You'll find all sorts of fabric in Gail's shop - for grand children as well as for their wonderful Gran :-)

Hi Belle, Enjoy your trip to Melbourne. Although I have not been to this shop, it is close to the city....GJs Fabrics, 443 Lygon St. Brunswick East (03) 9380 2989 open M-F 9-5 Sat 9-4. Reception @ Hilton will be able to direct you to a tram. Quilters from interstate seem to head to GJs when in Melb. I am planning a trip there in July. My local shop is Pathwork with GailB as mention above. Google Gjs & Pathwork with GailB. Have fun

If you like Vintage bits and pieces there is L'uccello in the Nicholas Building in Swanston st, only a few blocks down from Flinders st station. It is a very sweet shop.
