First Block and a strange Rose from my garden

This first pic is a picture of a rose from my garden it's the strangest thing I have ever seen it is one stem with six flowers and one wee bud on top of it I have never seen anything like it before. The second is the first of my blocks for a picnic quilt by Threadbare Creations it should have been in nice light colours but I'm into autunm colours, I'm using 3 Charm Square packs I got via Sarah of Sarah's Prim Treasures.

That is a strange rose! It must have messed up DNA. What will be really strange is if there are more that bloom like that. Love the block you made. I prefer the darker shades of fabric myself.

Perhaps our messed up seasonal ebb and flow has something to do with your rose being what it is.
Love the colours for your picnic quilt, Debs.

Hmmm, a genetic mutation? We have heirloom roses here that the old folks call "seven sisters" that has 10 - 12 blooms coming out from each stem. You make one cut and get an instant bouquet!!
