A quilt for Qiqa

This is a quilt I have almost finished for Qiqa the little girl I have been looking after the pic was taken in the front porch of their house, as you can see I am still doing the binding, Qiqa had to get into the picture because it is her quilt  LOL the quilt is one from the pajama Party book.
Rosie and I had a quick trip into Calico Crossroads on the way back to Burnie after taking Qiqa to see the Wiggles in Launceston , Pauline has the most amazing new needles you have to see them to believe it they have a three sided point not a round point we got some then after trying them made a quick phone call to get Pauline to send up another two pkts. Sad news

My darling little Granddaughter Isabella passed away on Wednesday 14th, those of you who know me well will know she was born ill but this has not made her passing any easier to cope with, so if I'm away again its just because I'm so up and down at the moment, As a Christian I believe she is at long last running like the wee girl she is and playing with other precious children who have gone on to a better life . If it were not for my faith I really dont think I could cope at all.

I'm Back I think :)

Looks like I'm back ( hopefully).
My GP friend passed her Australian med finals, I'm back home nights, still at her place Moday/Friday and some weekends if she is on call.

These are two quilts I have done while I was away ( if I remember how to post them) The first one is for a friends foster child, and the small lap quilt is for my G/Grandson as a wee quilt for when he falls asleep in the car.

Sorry I'm A W l

Sorry I'm absent without leave , I am staying with a friend looking after her daughter while she works and studies for her finals which are starting in March and finishing in May , since my laptop does nt work at her home I cant get on the blogs much only when I'm home to see poor old never complaining hubby. He really is a dear just dont anybody tell him I said that .
 I hope to be back blogging in May .
