Help Please

Hi Girls,
I need a bit of help if any of you have worked with beads I'm beading the words of Star of Wonder by Nancey Halvorsen however it's not turning out as neat as I would like any body got any ideas

What a Day

WOW what a day, it was just great loved every minute of it met some really lovely girls, did more talking than stitching as my hands got sore but would not have missed it.
Thankyou to the girls from the Quilted Crow who donated some lovely door prizes and to Helan of Hugs and Kisses also for some lovely gifts.
A big thankyou to Jo for organizing the day and to all the lovely girls who attended without each of you it would not have been the same, also to Kathy and Christine for driving me down

Only One More Sleep

My give away from Calico Crossroads arrived today how quick was that? and its gorgeous fabric don't know yet what I'll use it for it's a lovely set of blues.

FREE BOM

I'm having one of my cant sleep nights so I have been blog hopping all night,while looking I found a free B O M 'Red Delicious' it can be found at estheraliu.blogspot.com you have to get it by the 15th of the month then it is removed and the next one added. It's by Esther Aliu's this is the first month so would be great to start in the new year.

I have been asked to show pics of the thread roll I made, sorry the pics wont be very good it's raining outside so i had to take the photos on the coffee table also the inside is only a cream on cream which will not show up well, hope this is going to help.

I meant to add when I am finished I just spray the Nos away or wash the roll if it needs it by then

another use for pencil rolls

I use the same pencil case thing to keep my DMC threads in What I do is, get out the threads for the project I'm going to start, get my wash away pen, put the Nos on each slot insert the threads and away I go. really handy to take with you if you don't all ready have a project bag LOL I have both and use both from time to time as I have more than one stitchery on the go.
You all thought I was just a pretty face didn't you (just cause I cant use this thing,( PC))

Hobart Visit

Thanks to everyone who wished me well at my specialist appointment, He has put me on stronger pills, wanted to up my chemo ,I said no way I don't want to have to increase that, the dose I'm on now is one dose per week more than I want I'm prepared to stay on what I'm on but not a higher dose.
I had Lunch with my friend and Jo of Jo in Tas it was lovely to meet her I enjoyed our time together, and cant wait to get to Ross to meet the rest of you girls.

Just found this pic that I thought I'd deleted, it was on the wrong camera so I found it by accident really as I was lending this camera to a friend I checked it out got out the cords ect., then thought I better just make sure, and there was the pics.

I did this tidy about three months ago for an old lady who was in a wheel chair and resided in a nursing home, I thought it would be a handy little thing for her lollies papers, however she died two weeks after I got it finished.

So Sarah this is the photo I said I'd take before giving it.:)

Sorry I could not manage to get the last post the way I wanted it so here is the explanation of what all the gifts were hopefully in order, First was the decorated envelope with two butterflies from my machine to cover the addresses,The purple folder is a complete kit for one of the classes Patricia teaches its a Crazy quilting dolls quilt then there are beads buttons, two hoops, see the size of the small one, two fat quarters, then the next pic is one of Leisure Arts books Patricia designed for them, then we have two flowers she made with seed beads so intricate, next is an other book by Patricia Writing on Fabric it's soo sweet with pics on each page of the 26 pages lovely verses to use on your craft work then we have a gorgeous book on crazy quilting again by Patricia for Leisure Arts.
So you can see why I was soo excited and overwhelmed by it all

Gifts from a friend

Yesterday I got a lovely surprise from a blog friend in the States a large parcel of gifts in a decorated envelope it was soo nice and that was before I opened it. Go visit her blog it's birdsnest on the ground Patricia is just so gifted she designs for Leisure Arts among other things

I WON

I just got news I won a give away from "legacy of stitches" its the pink pickle pincushion. I have never won anything other than a booby prize when I was a kid of 4/5 years old it was a POUND OF LARD lol.
I also have an other post to do of a parcel I received from a friend I met on blog land but that one will be for next time Suffice to say I was in tears when I saw all she sent me.
